About Peter
I am passionate about getting to know people, uplifting them and sharing my knowledge and skills to help them achieve their goals and dreams. I love traveling, the outdoors, animals and being creative. I am a truly heart-centered and authentic individual. I truly care a great deal about my students and helping them grow. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on English as a First and Additional language. I possess a performing arts certificate from Stageworld Theatre School. My major was musical theatre, but I also did straight acting, drama and performing arts. I have a strong foundation in Psychology. I am currently studying towards a Master's Degree in Psychological Research. I also possess TEFL, TOEFL/TEYL certificates. I also studied and acquired a Positive Education Certificate. These skills can also be applied to adults for personal growth and development. I have more than 6 years experience in teaching English/ESL to individuals of all ages online. I taught piano privately for 5 years. I have been doing Hypnosis and Life Coaching for two and a half years. I take a real interest in my students and it lets me adapt the lesson to your level, goals and interests.

My lessons are relaxed and informal. I like to keep things easy and simple. I focus on relevant language skills that you can use in real-life situations. I use engaging conversations and fun, interactive exercises. I offer supportive, encouraging feedback and correct pronunciation and grammar where needed with suggestions for improvement. I give clear explanations with specific examples. I am proficient in English. I have a beginner Afrikaans level. I teach students from all levels. I will help you become more fluent and proficient, sound more natural and improve your vocabulary. I assist with listening, speaking, writing and reading skill improvement.
