About Guilherme Rafael
I lived in Quebec City, Canada, and studied at Laval University doing part of my Master's there. In addition, I was able to continue the development of this master's degree in the city of Rennes, France, at the University of Rennes 1.
All my ACADEMIC STUDIES in Brazil took place at the Federal University of Paraná - UFPR. ( Google it if you don't know this University)
I currently work as a Portuguese teacher at Guyane française.

NATIVE Brazilian teacher who was born in the north of Brazil but grew up and graduated in the south of this wonderful country.
In addition to all the experience in the classroom and in the face-to-face courses, we will focus now on the online sphere of this presentation.
Facing the new normal due to the pandemic of COVID-19, I adapted to the opportunity to work, with different classes, exercising the role of teacher in a completely online format.
My target audience was/are: Adults, elderly people and adolescents.
I work constantly with grammar, but I do so in a way that addresses the cultural side inherent in the language.
I include authentic music and videos in my courses so that all student skills can evolve properly.
"Teacher, do we have to interact with you or we can you just sit there and watch/here you like a podcast????"
WE HAVE to talk and interact YES SIR !!!!
(except for exceptions in which the objective is only oral comprehension or specific exams).
Last, but not least, it is worth noting that: CLASSES ARE TAKEN IN PORTUGUESE GUYS.
This pedagogical attitude that chooses to teach the course in PORTUGUESE naturally bothers the students at the beginning, but it provides, rest assured, a very significant progress in relation to the other methods.
