About Thania Ingrid
Hello! My name is Thania Ingrid de Carvalho and I will be your Portuguese teacher! I have completed two international exchange programs, where I had the opportunity to live with people from different countries and cultures, as well as teach Portuguese to foreigners. This experience allowed me to understand the challenges of learning a new language and to help my students develop not only fluency in Portuguese, but also knowledge of Brazilian culture and the confidence needed to communicate in everyday situations. I strive to make learning light, efficient, and adapted to the needs of each student. My classes are personalized according to your level of knowledge, learning pace, and goals, whether for travel, work, studies, or personal development. I mainly work with young people and adults who want to learn with confidence and develop natural communication. I believe that learning a language goes far beyond books. Therefore, I use authentic materials such as music, films, series, news, and videos, making classes more dynamic, engaging, and connected to the real use of the language. My goal is for you to develop all the essential Portuguese skills in a practical and progressive way, always respecting your learning pace. It will be a pleasure to follow your progress and help you achieve your goals in learning Portuguese!

My classes are personalized according to your level of knowledge, learning pace, and goals, whether for travel, work, studies, or personal development. I teach Portuguese to students of all levels, primarily young people and adults. In each class, we will develop the four main language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also focusing on contextualized grammar and vocabulary. I like to use authentic materials to make learning more interesting and relevant. During classes, we will learn with music, films, series, news, videos, and other content, according to the student's interests, making the classes more dynamic and motivating.
