Through persistence and creative thinking, created over 5 meaningful jobs for students with disabilities at MacEwan University. Drew on interpersonal leadership skills to manage a team of 24 counselors and over 350 campers at YMCA Camp Chief Hector. I work with students to find strategies that suit them and their own personal interest so as to keep them engaged and excited while they learn. I focus not only on having student achieve certain academic outcomes but also on getting to know the student and developing a relationship with them.
