My approach to teaching could be compared to coaching. Instead of giving my students the answers, I attempt to ask the proper questions, and with the help of demonstrations and group activities, they ought to be able to discover the solutions. The younger generation, in my opinion, lacks inventiveness and critical thinking. I work to support their development of these skills, which is why I favour coaching over lecturing, which is the traditional method of instruction for students in this grade level. Simply put, I work to better equip my pupils for the difficulties that the job market will present.
