About Connor
I obtained a 1st Class (Hons) BSc degree from the University of Aberdeen in Human Embryology and Developmental Biology in 2018. After this, I went to Cambridge University to study a PhD in human embryo development and stem cell biology (Prof. Jennifer Nichols' research group).
Currently, I'm a full time postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Aberdeen. My research encompasses understanding the cell signalling pathways governing early human development using human pluripotent stem cells.
I have been tutoring students for over 6 years to the present date. I aim to inspire and enthuse all of my students with the love for biology and understanding the most basic principles. You will not find a more friendly, supportive and enthusiastic tutor.

I approach teaching in very interactive and constructive manner by talking through areas of misunderstanding. I have a specific gift of assisting students in ascertaining the highest of examination grades by applying a cognitive technique and knowledge recall. A lesson with me will last 50-60 minutes and I am very experienced in tutoring, having done it now for 6 years. My lessons are tailored to anybody of any age or background from GCSE (or equivalent) to PhD level.
