I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cell Biology with a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and I have over two years of experience providing private biology tutoring alongside my academic research career. Through both my research and tutoring experience, I have developed a strong foundation across core biology topics including cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental design. I have supported students at GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate level through one-to-one tutoring, exam preparation, coursework support, and study skills development. My private tutoring work has involved tailoring sessions to individual learning styles, identifying knowledge gaps, and helping students develop effective revision and problem-solving strategies. I am particularly skilled at breaking down challenging material, adapting explanations to suit different abilities, and reinforcing understanding through clear examples and active questioning. As an active researcher, I also bring real-world scientific context into my teaching, which students consistently find motivating and helpful for deeper understanding.
