About Emmy
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to apply for the position of teaching. The wide range of my experiences makes me well-suited to undertake this role. I have spent the last few years in the US as a postdoctoral research associate and research scientist. Most recently I have been engaged in the School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC). Because of my extreme interest in teaching, while there I have attended a 14-week workshop for teaching held by the Center for Excellence in Teaching at USC.
During my graduate training, I was fortunate enough to have served as a teaching assistant and also lecturer for general chemistry and organic chemistry courses. I have found that my passion for (and commitment to) teaching has only grown with every year. Furthermore, although my teaching experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first rate conflict abilities, I also have highly developed resolution and problem-solving abilities and a strong passion for teaching.

I have attended a 14-week workshop for teaching held by the Center for Excellence in Teaching at USC.
