About Kris
Nothing makes me happier than seeing people achieve their goals, which is what makes me feel compelled to teach! As someone who has many hobbies that I like to dedicate time to and improve in, this has given me an appreciation for the art of learning and the art of teaching.
I have helped so many students over the years and want to help more! Many of my students have gone on to study music and write their own music, in professional and casual environments. Guitar is such a beautiful instrument and learning an instrument can become so much more than just a hobby - it can teach you things about yourself and help you explore those things in a way that is fun and enlightening.

I have been teaching for 13 years and have been working with students of all ages and abilities. I aim to teach my students the necessary guitar technique foundations to make things as easy as possible from the get-go, and to allow us to work on what YOU are most interested in!
I ask the student to tell me their goals with guitar and then a lesson plan can be created to help them achieve those goals in the most natural way possible.
30-minute lessons are the norm for me, but I'm more than happy to extend this if the student shows enthusiasm and the ability to remain focused for longer periods of time.
At the end of the day, my main focus is FUN! Learning an instrument shouldn't be a chore, and I want you to be eager to practise and ready for your next lesson!
