About Archana
I am a dedicated and patient educator with experience supporting learners across a range of abilities and educational needs. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, structured, and encouraging, with a strong focus on building confidence as well as academic understanding. I believe that students learn best in a calm, respectful environment where they feel supported, valued, and capable of success.
I have experience working in educational support roles, including one-to-one and small-group learning, and I am comfortable supporting both primary and secondary students. I am reliable, organized, and respectful of students’ individual needs, and I communicate clearly and professionally at all times.
My goal is to help students develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning, while providing consistent, high-quality academic support.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and structured. I begin by understanding each learner’s current level, strengths, and areas of need, and then adapt my teaching accordingly. I use clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and visual aids where appropriate, especially for learners who benefit from concrete examples.
Typical length of a lesson
Lessons typically range from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the learner’s age, attention span, and learning needs. Short breaks or changes in activity are included when necessary to maintain focus, particularly for younger learners or students with additional learning needs.
My lessons are suitable for Year 11, 12 & 13.
