Code can be frustrating until the syntax clicks into place. I admit that even I forget the exact order of arguments sometimes.
We spend our time on project-based learning to ensure that JavaScript and backend basics stick. Students often tell me that seeing the code function in a browser changes their perspective entirely. I teach programming like a startup environment. I am sitting at a terminal debugging a production issue as we speak. My 10 years of experience include a 6 year run as a BI lead at a SaaS unicorn.
