About Daniel
I am a Manufacturing Engineer with a First Class Honors degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. I use SolidWorks and CAD in professional engineering projects and have experience delivering technical training. Lessons are patient, practical and tailored to each student’s goals, with clear explanations and guided exercises that build confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

Lessons are personalised around your current ability, goals and preferred way of learning. A structured course can be developed from the basics, or support can be provided for a specific CAD project, design problem or SolidWorks issue.
For beginners, lessons can cover sketching, constraints, dimensions, part modelling and design intent. Further lessons can progress into assemblies, engineering drawings, tolerances, configurations and design for manufacture. Each topic is demonstrated first, followed by guided practice and an exercise completed by the student. Existing models can also be reviewed to identify errors and improve modelling methods.
A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes. A 90-minute lesson can be arranged for larger projects, assemblies or detailed drawing work.
I hold a First Class Honours degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. As a Manufacturing Engineer, SolidWorks and Fusion 360 have been used to design production equipment mounts, automation assembly machines, test rigs and robot heads. CAD models have also been developed into engineering drawings and physical prototypes for testing.
Training documents have been created and technical training has been delivered to engineering technicians. I also have experience mentoring engineering students in a manufacturing environment.
