About
About Me: Built on Defence, Defined by Discipline
My journey into basketball started later than most. I picked up a ball at 13, introduced to the game by a friend who had been playing since he was 5. Entering the game eight years behind meant I had to find a way to stay on the floor. While he had the offensive head start, I realised early on that defence was the fastest way to close the gap.
I spent those early years obsessed with the mechanics of stopping people. That necessity to compete transformed into a defensive-first mindset that defined my entire playing career. I didn’t just catch up; I surpassed the standard, moving from a late starter to a 3x National Champion and a multi-time Defensive Player of the Year.
I teach my students the same lesson I learned: You don’t need a head start to dominate—you need a superior work ethic and a mastery of the technical details.

I don’t believe in "motivational" coaching. Real confidence on the court doesn't come from a pep talk—it comes from automated mechanics. When your footwork and release are so refined through repetition that they require zero conscious thought, you stop hesitating. You stop thinking, and you start playing.
My first lesson is a diagnostic "Pressure Test" designed to identify where your mechanics fail and where your confidence slips.
