About Saakhi
I am a junior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and on the premed track. I graduated high school in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 2022. I maintained an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and earned a 35 on the ACT. I have always been academically driven and love teaching as well - I have experience teaching as an academic tutor and as a tennis instructor.

I teach concepts in an application-based way, where I take students through homework and textbook problems. I begin each lesson with asking the student what topic they are struggling with, give them an overview of the topic, walk them through some practice, and finally allow them to solve problems on their own while providing support.
I have ample experience working as a tutor and understand that not every student learns the same way! I will alter my teaching techniques to cater to each student.
My lessons are for 5-12th grade students taking middle school math, Algebra 1/2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Additionally, I teach General Chemistry.
