About Sofie
Hi ! My name is Sofie Wilcox and I am an experienced and dedicated English tutor with a passion for helping students attain their academic goals.
I graduated VCE in 2019 and since then have worked at some of the major tutoring companies in Victoria (such as ATARNOTES).
English has always been my favourite subject as I enjoy the escapism that Literature can offer, and the many styles of writing explored in the course.
I truly believe that with the right assistance everyone can become an 'English Student' and thrive in the subject.
In my spare time I like to play music (including guitar, piano and ukulele) and I am currently in the drafting process of my first fiction novel.

Do you often find yourself understanding concepts in class but when you go to write your essay you struggle? I am here to help!
I have over 4 years professional experience as a VCE Tutor, as well as recent experience as a graduate myself. I scored an ATAR of 98.05 and a study score of 45 in English (placing me in the top 2% of students in Victoria).
In our lessons I will break down all the elements needed to excel in English!
Before our lessons you will complete a short questionnaire on the skills you would like to work on. From here I create a unique set of lesson plans to ensure all of your academic goals are met.
Each lesson is specially tailored to your needs, goals and specific texts. This allows you to get the 1:1 support you deserve!
I have experience tutoring all ages from Prep-Year 12.
Available Booking Times:
Monday 6:30pm onwards, Tuesday 8pm onwards, Thursday 4pm, Friday 6:30pm onward, Saturday 11am onwards, & Sunday 12pm onwards.
Cost: $35p/h
Lesson length: 1hr, 1.5hrs or 2 hrs
