About Melody
I have been teaching English part-time for 3 years, received 2 scholarships, entrance to very competitive institutions and I can prepare students for International study. My background is very interdisciplinary, combining law, foreign policy, psychology, and international relations. I have written 2+ essays every 3 weeks for the past 4 years, I am now writing a chapter for an international law textbook. I can coach students through difficult admissions procedures and competitive scholarships. I have experience providing pastoral support and support for SEN students. I have wide experience of teaching children and adults ESL/EFL.

I have experience in youth empowerment (founding a youth council and numerous aspiration projects), Special Educational Needs - providing additional support for behavioural or learning needs, Experienced English as a Second Language /English as a Foreign Language (teaching vulnerable adults and 5-18 year old children), and encouraging students to make important decisions about their future and education, with help applying for competitive awards and scholarships, help finding the right degree programme or higher education course. I teach a wide range of students specialising in Gifted & Talented. Classes are taught via Zoom or Skype and can be 30 minutes to 1 hour.

If lessons are cancelled less that 24 hours before the class half of the hourly fee will be charged. If cancelled less than 12 hours before the class the full hourly fee will be charged.
