About Rhiannon

I am a friendly, enthusiastic and creative teacher who loves learning, languages and all things arty. I hold a degree in English Literature and Russian from The University of Sheffield and a PGCE in Primary Teaching from The University of Manchester. Alongside teaching, I enjoy reading, art, music and I love bringing creativity and curiosity into my teaching wherever I can.

I've taught in a range of schools in the UK and internationally, which has given me the opportunity to work with children from lots of different backgrounds and with a wide range of learning styles and needs. I speak Russian and love learning about different languages and cultures.

I particularly enjoy getting to know each child as an individual: finding out what interests them, what motivates them and how they learn best. I want tutoring to feel like a positive and encouraging space where children can ask questions, make mistakes and enjoy seeing themselves make progress.

About the lesson

Hello! I'm a qualified primary teacher with over 6 years of classroom teaching experience. I love helping children build confidence, enjoy learning and reach their potential. I also hold an Enhanced AccessNI check.

I offer personalised English and maths tuition for children aged 4–12. Whether your child needs extra support with a tricky area, wants to build confidence, consolidate their school learning or be challenged further, I tailor lessons to their individual needs. My lessons are bubbly, friendly and interactive. I take the time to understand each child's interests, strengths and learning style, helping them make progress without feeling overwhelmed.

I can support with:

• Reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar and writing
• Primary maths and mathematical confidence
• Homework and consolidation
• Addressing gaps and building confidence
• Challenging and extending higher-achieving pupils
• Support tailored to individual learning needs

My aim is for every child to finish a lesson feeling proud of what they have achieved and excited about what they can do next.

I offer both online and in-person lessons in the Belfast area.
