About Kimberley
I want to help pupils to overcome some of their individual barriers to accessing their learning by building strong trusting working relationships to help build confidence and self-worth to show them their academic abilities and potential and more importantly their own self-belief. I believe that all behaviour is a result of communicating needs and feelings which can create misunderstanding and frustration in some who find it difficult to verbally express or understand the emotions they are experiencing.

I have 18 years experience as a general, one to one and SEND Teaching Assistant and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in both mainstream and a specialist SEN school environments. I am a Qualified HLTA and have my level 5 tutorial qualification. I have experience in whole class, group, one to one and online teaching in subjects such as: English, Maths, Read Write, Inc Phonics, Geography, History and RE. I have experience in lesson planning and making appropriate resources to help support individual learning needs. I am also Elklan Trained at level 3. I consider myself to be calm, patient and have experience in some behaviour management. I can offer online or local one to one (individual learning and support (with conditions). I believe that all children should be supported to access a good education with understanding and nurturing teaching.
