What a Single Lesson Includes (R160 for 1 Hour)

A successful Foundation Phase / Beginner lesson requires meticulous planning behind the scenes so that the 60 minutes run smoothly and keep a young learner engaged. Single-session fee covers:

Customized Lesson Preparation: Tailoring the session to the learner's specific academic gaps or school curriculum (e.g., CAPS alignment), rather than using generic, off-the-shelf worksheets.

60 Minutes of Direct, 1-on-1 Instruction: Focused attention using age-appropriate, interactive teaching methods (alternating between reading, writing, and speaking to match a young child's attention span).

Access to Hands-On Learning Materials: Provision of physical or digital resources during the lesson, such as flashcards, phonic blending grids, or concrete math manipulatives.

In-Lesson Formative Assessment: Continuous, gentle tracking of the child’s progress to identify which sounds, words, or numbers need reinforcing in the next session.
A Brief Parent Feedback Loop:** A quick 2-to-3 minute wrap-up or message at the end of the lesson to tell the parent what was covered and how the child performed.


What the R800 Package Includes (5 Lessons)

An R800 package consists of 5 hours of tutoring (5 lessons × R160).

1. Structured Learning Block

5 × 60-Minute Sessions: Typically structured as one lesson per week for five weeks, or twice a week for intensive bridging support.
Guaranteed Time Slot:** The parent locks in a recurring, predictable day and time on your weekly schedule.

2. Complimentary Initial Baseline Assessment

* Instead of charging extra to find out where the child stands, build a **15-minute diagnostic screening** into the very first session of the package. This identifies specific phonic gaps, vocabulary levels, or number-sense barriers right out of the gate.

3. A Tailored 5-Week Progress Plan

A simple, one-page outline shared with the parent showing the learning trajectory for the 5 sessions (e.g., *Week 1: Double vowels "aa/ee/oo"; Week 2: Building 3-letter words...*). This gives the parent peace of mind that there is a clear strategy in place.

4. Custom Home-Practice "Take-Away" Packs

Include short, fun, 5-minute daily practice activities or printable flashcards for the child to do at home between your sessions to reinforce what you taught them.

5. Milestone Progress Report

At the end of the 5th lesson, parents/guardians are provided a brief written or voice-note summary detailing the child's growth, areas of improvement, and recommendations for the next steps.
