About Ruth
I started off as a teaching assistant and have worked my way up to being a class teacher. I have taught in both KS1 and KS2, so am comfortable teaching all areas of the primary curriculum. I also volunteer with children through scouting, so have plenty of experience working with children.

I approach each topic by modelling clearly how to deal with problems—specifically or generally—and then work with the child to approach those particular questions/method until they are confident in answering them independently. I use fun methods to help embed knowledge.
