About Lorna
My name is Lorna and im from Ireland. I have always wanted to teach from a young age and after university I was given the opportunity to teach in Dubai. Here, I found a passion for teaching English as a second language. My first group of students had very little to no English but over the course of the year they developed into very confident speakers through English. Since returning from my travels I want to continue teaching people all over the world from different countries and backgrounds who want to learn English.
For anyone interested in proofreading; I have always had an interest in reading and correcting pieces of writing and would enjoy proofing any types of texts or websites.

My teaching style comprises of repetition of skills till mastering the skills. By repeating, you become more comfortable using the language and will then be able to use these as the foundation of your learning for the language. Also I believe incorporating games within lessons can help people learn much quicker.
I have a BA in Early Childhood studies, a level 6 degree in Special Needs Education and also a TEFL certification for teaching English as a second language.
Lessons can be for all ages. I can also proofread any form of essay, dissertation, thesis.
