About Laura
My name is Laura and I am a fun, friendly and dedicated teacher for the past 15 years. It is a joy to help each student get "unstuck" in their learning. I love to take time to know and care for my students and help them learn to trust themselves. I help students develop a growth mentality, celebrate small success' and enjoy the journey of learning whilst having fun and feel supported along the way!

I am a qualified primary school teacher( students aged between 4-13 years) of over 15 years experience in the classroom and in learning support.
I have extra training in math, emotional awareness, confidence building approaches and enjoy teaching and supporting reading development.
I aim to create a supportive and positive learning environment through which I can meet children where they are at in any subject area and help them grow in their learning and self confidence.
I focus on developing a growth mentality and porbelem solving approach. I tailor lessons to the students need and figure out ways for each child to improve, grow and progress.
Typical lessons will last an hour and will be based off the needs of the student to support learning.
I can also help with homework, projects, particular, subject areas depending on where support is needed.
