About Carolyn
I’m Ms. CW, a teacher who uses the science of reading to provide the best strategies possible for students to succeed.
I help kids rapidly improve phonics, reading, foundational math & everyday school readiness by simultaneously developing key cognitive skills like memory, processing ability, listening accuracy & focus — vital to learning but not easily fine-tuned at school.
I am a certified Fast ForWord provider, Sounds-Write practitioner, breathing & brain-health coach, and a qualified member of the Australian Tutoring Association.

I use Sounds-Write phonics, decodable readers, dictation, and/or sentence/paragraph building during our 1:1 online teacher calls (to help struggling readers, spellers &/or writers) but also happily address all other areas of learning, as needed. Just let me know

In between a (packaged) weekly, fortnightly or monthly call, students log in to their own teacher-supported, clinical strength program that enables personalised language & cognitive development through the continuous practice of key (scaffolded) learning skills. This award-winning program is called Fast ForWord — it's made by brain scientists to be fast-working and it's delivered in a fun, animated format so kids feel right at home!
It’s easy to complete wherever you have Wi-Fi — 30, 60, or 90 minutes a day / 5 days per week is recommended (or at least 3 days on your busiest weeks).
Discounts are available for 3-month package purchases.
It's a teacher-supported, home routine that will not only help with language and reading but also brain health, auditory processing skills, memory, anxiety, impulsivity, focus, and sleep — for brilliantly brighter school days!

All lessons are 40-minutes duration & include my teacher progress report/notes afterwards. Lessons are all online. Before, during and after school appointments are available. BUY A BUNDLE OF 11 LESSONS AND GET YOUR 12th LESSON FREE!
Individual (pay-as-you-go) lessons are 40-minutes for $75 each.
Likewise, there is no preset for a 40-minute free lesson - I could only choose from 30- or 45-mins - so I wish to let you know that the free lesson will be 40-minutes. Thanks.
