About Leanne

My name is Leanne Meadows. I have been a primary and Special Educational Specialist for 4 years. I currently work in a SEND school, specialising in Autism Delivery. I love teaching and I have worked across the curriculum from EYFS to Year 6 and preparing the 11+. I have extensive knowledge of the primary curriculum and 2 university degrees. I have lived in Madrid for 2 years teaching English as an additional language and understand how to create fun, engaging and purposeful lessons for all ages and abilities. I have extensive knowledge of tutoring from 50+ to 3+, I can cater my teaching to different ages and abilities and am incredibly consistent.

About the lesson

I love the ability to teach different classes and have a wide range of experiences such as teaching those with SEND, English as an additional language and exam prep. I have experience based on an English and Sociology Degree and a Primary Teaching degree. I love my job, there is nothing better than helping students develop their knowledge of a topic and expand their experiences. I love to use technology to engage and stimulate my students and do include the latest apps to encourage learning to be fun and thought provoking. I believe in keeping learning experiences fun, engaging and stimulating; but most of all purposeful and deepening learning with each topic we cover.
