About Lucía
My name is Lucía, a recently graduated Primary Education teacher from Madrid. One year ago, I moved to Newcastle in the pursuit of a different life and work experience. During this year I have been working as a Spanish teacher assistant at a high school in Lanchester. Working in a diverse school has developed my level of understanding of different student needs. This allows me to adapt my lessons if needed. Moreover, I have experience working with the British curriculum of education, so I can prepare students for GCSE and A-level Spanish exams. My academic and work experience in teaching makes me confident working with all kind of students. Furthermore, I am an approachable person who can encourage pupils to get involve in any activities.

Since each student is different, there is no single methodology to learn. Some students need to focus on grammar learning and others just need conversation. I like to combine both and especially work CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning).
