About Rachel

I have been teaching languages for the past 2 years, and am now receiving formal training as a language teacher in France through my Master's program. Currently teaching FLE/FLI at a French school, I have also worked as a language assistant in French public schools. An alum of the Alliance Française de Bombay (DALF C1 certified), I was one of the writers for their web magazine 'Curieux!' In the past, I have taught students at an NGO and have taught French to a visually challenged student.

About the lesson

As a student of Master's - Didactics of Foreign Languages, I create each lesson keeping in mind the needs and pace of my students. I adopt a communicative method of teaching that uses interactive and inductive activities. This method encourages the autonomy of the student, thus creating the best environment to discover the French language and culture together!

Rachel is an excellent teacher having a unique way of teaching..
She doesn’t make you memorise anything instead her style of teaching automatically makes the topic so easy that you won’t forget it. I would give her 100% recommendation. Thanks Rachel for teaching my daughter.

Its quite evident that Rachel put in alot of effort into laying out a weekly curriculum for class. Being one of her students I can say positively that she takes personal interest in the progress of every student. She also came up with ways to make class more enjoyable through games and activities. Although she is friendly, she is can be quite strict if need be. It was her motivation that really made me begin to love the language rather than just studing French to get by.
