About Yan Erick
I have been working with English since 2011, most of my professional experience is in private lessons. I worked in two vocational courses schools until now. Some of the students I've worked with have already taken part on an exchange. I also have a partnership with an exchange company.

Classes are held via Skype or in person. If you opt for the classroom, I take the classes at my home. The teaching method depends on your primary purpose. For example, if you have a primary interest in reading and writing, we work with the Grammar Translation Method that focuses more on reading than oral skills. If your primary goal is speech, then we use the Communicative Approaches Method (which works using English in a social context, associating content with images) and dynamics in general. We can also use their combination if you want to learn fluent reading and writing. The fluency may vary for each student. It depends on both the prior knowledge of the language and the speed with which student develops the new acquired knowledge. The average time for fluency is beween 3 and 4 years. REMEMBER THIS! Being "fluent" is different from "knowing how to communicate"! To communicate, the deadline is shorter, but you may not be able to fully master all the areas of the language.
