About Ben
您好, Hi! I’m Ben, recently returned to London from Beijing, having completed an MA degree in China Studies.
Since 2012 I have lived and worked all over China including Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and Xiamen where I have taught English, German and Dutch language, often via Mandarin Chinese.
Here in the UK I specialise in teaching Mandarin Chinese to native English speakers.
My unique teaching method centres on the natural way Chinese children study the language and focuses on the progressive cultivation of new vocabulary, grammar and syntax for balanced progression across the main areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
So whether it is HSK exam preparation, conversational or business Chinese which you wish to improve, I am ready to support your Mandarin learning mission!
