About Kayla
I am a first year student at UGA majoring in science education with a music minor. I have been playing piano for over 16 years with experience ranging from accompanying choirs and orchestras, composing theatre pieces, to teaching. I have been giving private lessons for over 5 years to students of all ages and skill. I love teaching students that are also passionate about music and eager to learn more about piano!

I believe that music should be enjoyable and fun for each student to learn. Therefore, my approach is to learn technique, improve skill and knowledge, all while having as much fun as we can! I also believe it is very important to explore each genre and time period, therefore encouraging each of my students to have a wide range of experience in styles.
