About Alex
I have just finished my degree in Biochemistry at the University of Aberdeen, achieving a first and earning the Leonard Simkin Prize in Biochemistry, awarded to the highest performing student on the course. In addition to this I have experiences of varying lengths in three different labs, two in Aberdeen over a 10 week period and the other working in Rome for a year. With this, I have an up to date understanding of biological field and can offer help with finding lab based work experience.

I first would like to identify any subjects the student feels least comfortable in and devise a lesson through powerpoint. Lessons will be relatively easy going, focusing on understanding of the topic at hand rather than memorising certain facts. I am happy to teach students at any stage of A level through to University.
