About Joshua
My name is Josh. I have written and produced a range of tracks in multiple genres and am able to work with a variety of acoustic and virtual instruments.
During my time at Leeds Conservatoire (2019) I specialised in Pastiche music (being able to accurately recreate the sounds and paradigms of a genre in an original way). I have been playing guitar for 15 years and am able work out how to play songs just by listening. If this is a skill you'd like, message me about lessons!
I began teaching guitar to Conservatoire students who were looking for extra tuition outside of their course and really enjoyed the journey of helping people understand a theory or technique they had been having trouble with.

I can tailor any of my teaching to your preferred learning style and offer advice and learning resources outside of our lesson. I can always provide as much work as you want to do.
Whether you want to learn Guitar or Logic Pro X, the main goal of my lessons are to help you develop a skill until it is second nature to you. To deeply understand a theory or technique rather than just reciting an idea or song back to me. You'll be able to generate your own ideas in the field and decide your own preferred method after learning the fundamentals of your craft.
I am offering lessons to all ages, in-person or online! I am Enhanced DBS checked. Logic lessons will require both parties having Logic or in-person lessons.

I've known Josh for many years and he's one of the most talented musicians I know. He's incredibly knowledgeable, patient and driven - if he hears a song he likes, it won't take him long until he's deciphered it and has it mastered, just from listening to it. Its quite amazing to watch!
