Marlon does a very good job at teaching you where you’re at. He does a great job at encouraging his students and making them feel safe. He taught me music theory while also making each lesson fun. I truly treasured the time that he invested in teaching me.

Marlon is a fantastic human! He has been an encouraging and foundational force in my life. I have know Marlon for almost 10 years. We met through the church that we both attended which he was the worship pastor at. Marlon took me from being a scare guitar player who never played in front of people to an artist who plays on stage and records in studio. He helped grow my confidence by stretching my comfort zone and staying with me when things didn't go quite to plan. We started off recording on an old laptop in his apartment to record in a real studio with a professional sound engineer. He was with me every step of the way teaching me and supporting me. His gifts as a teacher and communicator have helped me grow into the musician and person I am today. I will always be grateful to him for his mentorship and friendship.
