About Jessica
Originally from Yorkshire, I am an enthusiastic teacher with a high level of professionalism. Confidence boosting and inspiring my students is key to successful acting lessons. I love to pass on what I have learnt as a professional actor in the industry myself, and create a safe space for us to have fun and get creative!

Every student is different, which is why I tailor each lesson to suit the individual. You may want to prepare for LAMDA exams, or even audition for the next amateur dramatics production. Maybe you would like to work on your stage presence and acting through song? I can help with all!
I trained at The Arden in Manchester and hold a First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre. I have been teaching for 5 years and the majority of my work has been with children and most recently with adults who want to explore their dramatic flair. I have recently worked with Miranda Bell and Karen Henthorn on intensive acting for screen courses, and can't wait to share what I have learned!
Lessons can include:
- monologues (for screen or stage)
- duologues (for screen or stage)
- classical and contemporary texts
- improvisation
- acting through song
- character work
- physicalisation
- audition and exam preparation
Lessons typically last 30 minutes to an hour, in person or online.
