About Manu
I'm an architect whose work exists at the intersection of architecture, investigative journalism, industrial design, art, and filmmaking. I hold a Master's in Architecture (distinction) from Polytechnic University of Madrid and an MA in Research Architecture (distinction, 81%) from Goldsmiths, University of London. I have one year of experience as a teaching assistant at Polytechnic University of Madrid, plus workshop facilitation at Medialab Matadero in Madrid. Professionally, I worked for two years at a creative design studio with architects and designers, designing spaces and objects for events and brands. This involved technical production of graphic documentation, 2D and 3D visualisations for presentations, coordinating with multiple teams, and managing design through to fabrication. I've also collaborated with Forensic Architecture and produced 3D art exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale. I regularly work in multidisciplinary teams with engineers, architects, contractors, artists, designers, and scientists. This multidisciplinary background means my classes work equally well for 3D artists, architects, spatial researchers, journalists, designers, or anyone working between disciplines. I'm passionate about teaching and love seeing students develop their creative vision.

I believe learning 3D software should be energetic, practical, and enjoyable. My methodology is project-based: rather than exhaustively explaining every tab and menu, I focus on the 20% of knowledge you'll use for 80% of tasks. We'll learn through fun projects that align with your interests and goals. When you contact me, I'll ask about your background and what you want to learn, then adapt my classes and examples specifically to you. I don't just explain how to use tools—I explain why you'd choose one methodology over another. What's special about my classes is that I teach complete creative workflows between softwares, not isolated programs. I'll show you how to jump intelligently between Rhino, Grasshopper, Blender, photogrammetry, Unreal Engine, AI tools, Photoshop, and GIS for spatial analysis—teaching creative modelling as a holistic practice. I'm passionate about learning new software and skills to expand my creative language, and I always have small side projects to learn new techniques. Even if you present a challenge I don't know how to solve on the spot, I love thinking together and doing research to find solutions—which is itself a valuable skill to teach. Software mastery isn't only about knowing how to do things, but also about knowing how to look for answers and learn independently. All levels welcome—if you have no base in any software, don't worry! Typical lessons are 1.5-2 hours. We'll work on real projects with live demonstrations, guided practice, and comprehensive resources for continued learning.
