About Iris
I am a visual artist developing plastic and conceptual work with painting and sculpture, installation and performance. I graduated in 2020 with a Master Fine Art (with distinction) at Chelsea College of Arts (UAL) in London and in parallel, I was attending Art History lessons at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Recently, my work was shown at the Saatchi Gallery and on the TATE Britain’s website during a Tate Late.
For one year, I worked as a Painting teacher and a Portfolio Advisor (individual or group lessons) in the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse, one of the best Art schools in France. (Practice development, Technique teaching, Portfolio, CV, Statement, Help with Adobe suite, Exams preparation...)
Moreover, when I worked as a Personal Assistant for the Artist Daiga Grantina, I learnt how to react very quickly to specific requests, to become even more detail-oriented and strongly organized and to connect deeply to her artistic practice and help her develop it.

My teaching method is first of all to understand in what state of mind my student is, and at what stage of understanding of the artistic world.I am very attentive, calm, encouraging and and targets everyone's needs.
To be accepted in an Art school, I believe that it is very important to have basic knowledge of Art History, be aware of what is happening in the present, in contemporary art but also in the world, and have the motivation to contribute to our society's evolution.
Through my teaching, I make sure that my students have fun, gain self confidence and be motivated.
As a young professional artist who made the leap from France and more cities in Europe to London, passionate about transmission and artistic education, I have a strong desire to support students on their journey towards a successful career in the Arts.
