About Luke
I'm a professional assistant recording engineer and have been fortunate enough to work with artists like Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Blossoms & Marina & The Diamonds to name a few. I’m really passionate about all things music tech, whether it be Mixing, Recording or Production.
I’m new to offering private tuition, but I have plenty of experience working with college students as I used to be the music technician at Godalming College, where I was the first port of call for any issues students were having in the studio. Helping the students out was my favourite part of the job, so much so that I set up an extracurricular Pro Tools/Mixing club where I could go into greater detail with students about topics of interest they had; I was also a personal tutor at the college.
I first trained at the London College of Music and graduated with a degree in Music Performance & Recording (2:1) in 2018. I'm a guitarist too and I've been playing in noisy rock bands for years. I was an engineer/mixer at Bonafide Studios for 18 months whilst I was studying where I worked on a massive range of projects from choirs, to rappers, to heavy metal bands.

I teach anyone ranging from A Level/BTEC Music Technology students to producers looking to further develop their skills. I can cover from the basic principles of Music Technology to advanced techniques used by the pros to make hit records. I offer a personalised approach tailored to each student's needs, adapting to their style of learning and covering music that is of interest to them.
I can guide you how to formulate your projects from simple demos, into fully-fledged productions that are mixed, mastered and ready to be professionally released.
