About Gunja
I’m professional children’s book illustrator and fine artist. Having Master’s Degree in Illustration and practising Visual Art since my childhood, I have developed practical knowledge of applying art fundamentals to bring stories alive. Teaching and developing artistic skills in any art enthusiasts has been a significant aspect of my 14-year professional career. Student develops individual creative process with curating their own projects with me. My art studio is a creative and expressive space where individuals can develop their artistic skills and explore different mediums such as Watercolours, Gouache, Inks, Charcoals, Pastels and Digital pen-tablet. I explain art fundamentals and their application thoroughly during lessons, and I teach online using web camera and screen share. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting new journey, my lessons/workshops are designed to nurture your creativity and support your artistic growth.

Traditional Illustration: I teach various traditional mediums for creating illustrations for example: watercolours, gouache, inks, charcoals and pastels. Digital illustration: I teach digital illustration on Procreate using iPad Pro with Apple pencil. Both illustration lessons involve, idea to sketches to rough compositions to final illustration. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, total 4 lessons are recommended for creating one illustration with one particular medium. I have Master's Degree in illustration and 5 years of teaching experience, from Primary age kids to adults.
