About Nathan
I have been teaching piano since I was a teen.
I have a B. A. in Church music.
I have been a professional musician for over 25 years.
My students are my friends and they progress rapidly when they do their homework.
Lessons are efficient and effective.
I assign 3-4 songs at a time with weekly instruction in music theory to increase understanding of how great music is made and technique to improve motor skills.

Church music is my speciality on any level for keyboard players, traditional pianists, and vocalists.
My students and I have fun.
Lessons are efficient and effective.
For beginning to intermediate students I usually use Alfred Premier Piano Course.
For more advanced students I introduce the classes.
I am happy to coach students learning songs of their choice.
Sessions are usually 30 minutes weekly.

30 minute sessions can be scheduled up to 2x per week. If cancelation is necessary, consider scheduling an extra session in another week for full credit.
