About Nick
I am a professional classical guitarist based in London.
I perform regular recitals, both solo and as a member of various chamber groups. I have a Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
I teach music professionally to students of the guitar and take great pleasure in seeing my students enjoy learning to make music and discover their potential.

My experience as a performing musician informs how I teach. The focus of my teaching is to foster an attitude of enthusiasm so that students enjoy learning to play their instrument throughout their life.
I teach students ranging from the ages of 4 to 18+ years and can accommodate different styles of guitar playing - classical, electric and acoustic. Each student has individual learning requirements, so I work with the students and often their parents to find a direction that’s right for them. For beginners I use an established method to teach the technique of guitar playing which has proven reliable and effective, so they can get playing and enjoy making music right away.
I have successfully coached students through ABRSM, Trinity College and Rock School grade exams from a beginner level up to Grade 8. feedback on their child's progress.
I am available to teach at a Central London location, may travel to client's homes, or can offer lessons online. Lesson length is flexible but 1 hour is standard for those 12+ years old.
