I am a singer/actor currently enrolled at The University of the Arts, majoring in Musical Theatre. I have sung consistently and taken lessons since the age of 6 so I am well versed in what the voice can do and how it works.

I like to approach teach by starting off with something that makes the student/s feel comfortable in the space. Typically that could look like them singing me any song they want, or us just talking or playing a game to feel for what we like. Then I start to layer on foundational level stuff for them and slowly build from there so they feel comfortable. Depending on the experience of the singer determines how quickly we can jump into tackling full pieces of music. I also like to add on some foundational theory/piano along with the vocal techniques because they are vital to a singer, just like a helmet and pads to a football player.
