About Ahmed
My name is Ahmed Koroma. I am a computer science student and a professional English/communication and public speaking tutor and a writer from Sierra Leone. I am passionate about helping students succeed in English and the above-mentioned professions. I have over 10 years of experience in technical communication and leadership. I employ a 'Project-Based Learning' (PBL) methodology combined with the Socratic Method. As a Director of Operations and a Computer Science student, I believe that theory is only useful if it can be applied.
My techniques include: Active recall, visual storytelling and scaffolding. Every 60-minute lesson follows a structured 'Success Blueprint': the hook, the core, the bridge, the workshop and the debriefing. What sets me apart is my dual expertise in teaching English, Creative Arts and Technical Science. My lessons are designed for a wide range of ambitious learners, university and college students, aspiring creatives, career switchers and beginners.
