About Anson
I am a professional pianist who has a master's degree in piano performance/pedagogy from the University of Toronto and a bachelor's degree in piano performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (part of the ABRSM organization). Not only did I receive scholarships from these places, but also from various top UK conservatoires (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Trinity Laban Conservatoire). I have also worked as a piano instructor in the University of Toronto children's pedagogy program during my study in Toronto. I have more than 7 years of piano teaching experience. My students went to junior conservatory piano programs and achieved distinctions from ABRSM/RCM. I am also a DIPABRSM teaching diploma holder, taught by an ABRSM examiner.

I teach piano at all levels, from complete beginner to professional level. I have had students attending junior conservatory programs and students achieving excellent results. I will teach you everything from piano technique and practice methods to ways to deal with stage fright. My lessons are fun and informative, with frequent demonstrations from myself so you know what you need to do to improve, whether you are playing piano for leisure or aiming to have a career.
