About Ivy
My passion for English began with a love for stories—the power of words to shape ideas, emotions, and imagination. Over the past eight years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students discover that same connection. From tutoring schoolchildren to guiding university students, I’ve seen how English learning transforms self-expression and confidence. I teach because I believe language gives people the tools to shape their world. My approach combines structure with inspiration. I teach grammar and writing with clarity but also encourage creative thinking and personal interpretation. I want my students to see English as something living—something they can use to connect, persuade, and inspire. Each lesson is tailored to their strengths and learning style, ensuring steady progress and genuine engagement. Outside of teaching, I read widely, write poetry, and explore literature from diverse cultures. For me, teaching English is more than instruction—it’s mentorship. It’s about helping students find their own voice and use language to express truth, empathy, and imagination.
