About Amir

Hello! My name is Amir. I am a literary translator and researcher with a deep passion for Persian language and culture. I have translated major works from English into Persian, and through this journey I have come to appreciate the richness and beauty of Persian as both a literary and everyday language. I want to share this language with learners from all backgrounds—not only as a tool for communication, but also as a doorway into Iranian history, poetry, and ways of thinking. My approach is patient, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you are interested in conversation, reading, or cultural insight, I look forward to helping you discover Persian.

About the lesson

Two teaching paths exist: 1) grammar-first, textbook-heavy, and 2) living-language, conversation-first. (Communicative Language Teaching or CLT) I choose the second. With my frequent Iran trips, I teach real, modern Farsi—everyday speech, slang, reading, and confidence—clear roadmap, lively sessions, zero clichés, steady progress, big smiles. I teach real, modern Farsi—thanks to my frequent trips to Iran—no dry, textbook clichés. We’ll focus on speaking, reading, and everyday slang, with a clear, fun roadmap. Practical dialogues, culture bites, steady progress, lots of smiles.

My rate is lower than the usual price because I genuinely want to teach Persian and share this language with more learners. It’s something I love doing, and that’s why I keep it affordable.
