About Christina
I bring over twenty years of experience as a writer and editor to my work as an English tutor. Writing has been a central part of my professional life, and I genuinely enjoy helping others develop the skills they need to communicate clearly, effectively, and with confidence.
Teaching and tutoring are not just tasks for me. This is the work I truly enjoy. I approach each lesson with care, patience, and attention to detail to create a supportive space where students feel encouraged to learn and improve. I understand that writing and English skills can feel intimidating, and I strive to make the learning process clear, approachable, and empowering.
My goal is not simply to help students complete an assignment or pass a test, but to help them build lasting confidence and independent skills. I want learners to leave our sessions feeling capable of reaching their goals on their own, whether that means writing stronger essays, preparing professional documents, or communicating more effectively in English.

I take a personalized, student-centered approach to English tutoring. Each learner begins with a careful skills assessment, where we review writing samples, academic or professional goals, and specific challenges. From there, I create an individualized learning plan tailored to your needs, level, and objectives.
My lessons are practical, focused, and supportive. A typical session includes reviewing your work together, identifying patterns or areas for improvement, and practicing targeted skills such as essay structure, clarity, grammar, organization, or test strategies. I emphasize real examples and guided practice so you can immediately apply what you learn.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on confidence and independence. Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I help you understand why changes are needed and how to recognize and fix issues on your own.
