My approach to tutoring is student-focused and tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. I strive to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and experimentation. My qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Education, as well as 6+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. My lessons are typically between 45-90 minutes in length and I have experience working with students of all levels and ages. I take a constructivist approach to teaching, involving scaffolding, modeling, and exploration. I provide feedback and guidance throughout the lesson to ensure the student is understanding the material. At the end of each lesson, I review the material and provide the student with any additional resources or practice exercises for further exploration.
By creating a safe and supportive learning environment, I aim to inspire confidence and motivate students to reach their fullest potential. My goal is to empower students to become independent and confident learners.
