About Sharne
Every child learns differently, and my lessons are designed around each learner’s unique needs. I take time to understand how a student thinks, what challenges them, and what helps them feel confident and motivated.
My approach is individualized and supportive, with lessons that are structured yet flexible. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, literacy, and critical learning skills, while fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning. I work in a calm, encouraging way, creating a safe space where children feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
I have extensive experience working with children, including those with learning differences such as dyslexia. Teaching is not just about academic progress for me — it’s about helping learners believe in themselves and enjoy the journey of learning. My goal is to empower students to become confident, capable readers who carry their skills and self-belief beyond the lesson.

I focus strongly on building solid foundations, particularly in reading, literacy, and core learning skills, while also encouraging independence and self-belief.
I work in a calm, encouraging way, creating a safe learning space where children feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Progress is built step by step, with clear goals and regular feedback, so both learners and parents can see growth over time.
Having worked with children for many years — including those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia — I understand that confidence plays a key role in learning. My aim is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help children develop a positive attitude towards learning that stays with them beyond the lesson.
