About Lini
With more than 20 years of experience, I am an experienced Flute tutor teaching School, College, and working professional students. I enjoy helping students build confidence and skill through structured and supportive lessons.
My teaching style is student-centred and flexible. I focus on proper breathing techniques, tone development, finger coordination, rhythm control, and musical expression. I adapt my lessons to suit different learning speeds and musical goals.
In addition to flute training, I teach related subjects such as music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. I also support students in exam preparation and performance confidence.
My unique strength is my clear explanation style and calm teaching approach. I encourage regular practice and provide steady guidance. My aim is to help students grow musically while enjoying the learning process.

My teaching methodology for flute is centred on strong communication, creative learning, and flexible teaching methods. I believe students learn best when lessons are clear, supportive, and adapted to their individual needs. I explain flute techniques in simple language and use demonstrations to help students understand concepts easily.
I encourage students to ask questions, share their difficulties, and communicate openly during lessons. Creativity is an important part of my teaching, so I include creative warm-ups, rhythm exercises, and enjoyable music pieces to keep lessons engaging. I focus not only on technique but also on tone quality, musical expression, and confidence.
Lessons are flexible and adjusted based on the student’s level, pace, and goals, whether they are learning for exams, performances, or personal interest. Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills to support overall musical development.
