About Chloé
I majored in flute performance and methodology during my studies, completing my Bachelor of Music with distinction. I love playing and teaching flute. I have performed with the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra and University of Pretoria Symphony Orchestra, in both of which I held the position of principal flute. I have passed UNISA and ABRSM grade 8 flute with distinction and was the overall winner of the 2018 UNISA grade 8 scholarship competition. I have been playing flute for 14 years, and have participated in numerous competitions, eisteddfods and performances. In 2020, I helped found Unlocked School of Music, and I have several years of teaching experience.

I believe that anyone can be a musician and find joy in playing an instrument. It's never too late to learn! I am able to prepare and enter students for exams if they wish, or to take a more relaxed approach. All ages and levels are welcome, whether you are a complete beginner or wanting to get back into playing. I am qualified to teach advanced grades.
