About Elliott
I have been involved in photography for as long as I can remember. My father was a professional photographer, and would often bring me along to work as a child to help out. In more recent times, I have struck out on my own as a freelancer just as my father did around my age. Light, it seems, flows in our veins.
One thing I have learned as a freelancer is that you will never run out of things to learn: alternative ways of achieving a desired effect, mistakes that end up making the photo better than what you intended, carrying an excess amount of batteries and SD cards wherever you go!
Photography can often be technically challenging and complex, which puts off many people from even trying! I am here to show you that photography is no longer the dark art it once was, and that you don't have to take the 'correct' photo for it to be a great photo.

As a freelance photographer by trade, I teach in a no-pressure, accessible environment and turn photography from a daunting, complex skill into a fun and exciting activity.
Each lesson typically lasts up to an hour where I cover the fundamentals of camera operation, composition, practical application of techniques and editing. These lessons are ideal for beginners or students entering GCSE level photography.
